Gilliane Warzée was born on December 19, 1977 in Belgium. She graduated as a nurse in 1999 worked in an emergency department in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Arlon, Belgium, where she takes painting classes from September 2006 to June 2009. Gilliane is suddenly passionate about painting at the age of 28. She begins with acrylic, then quickly turns to oil painting, which she appreciates the techniques of work, particularly the use of the knife whose effects and relief can increase the material of his works. Very inspired by the play of colors and their intensity, attracted by the matter and the light, the painting opens to him new perspectives. The main themes are faces and their expressions, wild animals. She is currently producing a series of women portraits, exploring the infinite possibilities of aesthetic and emotional treatment they offer. The knife work and the bright colors she uses convey an energy to her portraits. Site Internet

Signs, as always, are the expression of humanity, with the primary graphic frescoes, sketched in the grottos or on the rocky faces across the deserted plains, reecting the ability of the artist to x his interiority via the essential gesture, and to transcend the emptiness of his existence, calling upon collective imagination. The subjective force and the link that exists between the shape of the model and the calligraphy lines are, according to Chris Calvet, the transcription of such presence on earth, and the unfailing liaison between nature and mankind. It is also a kind of homage to this millennial art, revisited by a young creator, seeking to induce a lively and contemporary style via a novel approach. The images of Chris Calvet are thus timeless and universal, appreciated as much in Europe as in Asia…Website

Italy has been my land my home my inspiration and my training..
I was born in the south of France and I grew up between Europe and the US, a family of artists, a world of travellers and dreamers. I moved to Italy as a young adult with an artistic and waldorf education training. In 1991 I open my art studio in the heart of Tuscany , in San Gimignano where I work and live until 2012 and more recently move to Firenze. My study of colour, my research in materials, my passion for the landscape and its fruits, all has evolved around transforming into an intimacy the beauty around me. http://www.cassandrawainhouse.com/
Marie-Claire Roux – Lili Safari
